Sustainability Minor

The Sustainability minor prepares students to address the complex environmental and social challenges facing organizations and communities in the 21st century.

This interdisciplinary program combines business strategy, environmental science and policy analysis to develop comprehensive understanding of sustainable development principles and their practical applications. Students explore how organizations can balance economic objectives with environmental stewardship and social responsibility, learning to evaluate sustainability initiatives, assess environmental impacts and develop innovative solutions for complex global challenges. The minor draws from diverse fields including ethics, policy, finance and technology, providing students with multiple perspectives on sustainability issues. No matter their major, students gain valuable knowledge in sustainable practices and strategic thinking that enhances their ability to contribute to responsible decision-making and create positive environmental and social impact in their future careers.
