BIOGRAPHY

Portrait Deepika Raina

Deepika is an experienced professional with over 20 years of industry expertise in various fields, including clinical microbiology, antibiotic research, antimicrobial medical device research, and cosmetic manufacturing. She holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Microbiology from India. Currently, she is the Director of Manufacturing Hygiene and Microbiology for L'Oréal. Deepika was honored with L'Oréal's Excellence Award for innovation in 2015. She was recognized for her achievements during Women's History Month in 2020. As co-founder and co-chair of the PCPC's manufacturing hygiene task force, Deepika spearheaded the development of a graduate certificate in hygienic manufacturing at the University of Cincinnati, where she also coordinates and teaches.
