Hit the Gym

Students have access to the Schaefer Center, which includes a swimming pool, fitness center and athletic training center.  There’s also the Walker Gymnasium, which has an indoor track and an open basketball/volleyball court available for student use.  Several group fitness classes, including yoga, indoor cycling, Zumba® and boot camp, are held throughout the semester to keep participants motivated and on track.

Walker Gym offers a world-class student-athlete weightlifting facility that features free weights and exercise equipment.

Indoor Basketball Courts

Rain or shine, hit the court in our indoor basketball court inside Walker and Canavan Gymnasium. The walker gym also features an indoor walking track. 

Athletics at Stevens

Stevens is moving to the Middle Atlantic Conference, you can catch the Ducks running the soccer field at the DeBaun Athletic Complex or dribbling down the court at the Canavan Arena in the Charles V. Schaefer Athletic Center. Or, if you’d prefer to get in on the action yourself, you can join one of the many club and intramural sports Stevens offers. Regardless of skill level or experience, you can find your place on a team in an exciting, challenging and safe environment.

Want to compete against other schools, but not at the varsity level? Join one of the 19 teams in sports ranging from baseball, volleyball and basketball to archery, sailing and skiing.

Find Health & Wellness Through an Outdoor Adventure

The Outdoor Adventure Program also offers students an opportunity to be active while exploring the beauty of nature.  From local hikes and mountain biking to kayaking and paddleboarding, students are encouraged to enjoy the thrill of each activity and appreciate their natural surroundings.  And for those who need a reprieve from the New Jersey winter, the program takes an annual trip to Costa Rica during the winter recess. Find Your Next Adventure.
