Incoming Spring 2025 Students:
Students beginning their program in the Spring 2025 semester will gain access to their ISSS Student Portal by December 22, 2024. Students should monitor their Stevens email address for login instructions. The ISSS Student Portal is accessed using MyStevens Login.
Continuing Students:
Current students will access their ISSS Student Portal using their MyStevens account via Okta Verification. When entering the portal, be sure to click "Login with Campus ID".
For any inquiries regarding Okta Verification or trouble signing into your account, please reach out to IT User Services, who will be best equipped to assist you.
OPT/STEM Students:
Graduated students will access their ISSS Student Portal using the link sent to them on June 14. When entering the portal, be sure to click "Login with Portal Account". If this is your first time entering the portal, select "Forgot Password". The system will send you an email to create your own unique password. In the future, students will receive this email on their program end date listed on their I-20 or DS-2019.
Please check your spam or junk email folders for the email from Terra Dotta/ISSS Student Portal.
For inquiries or trouble signing into your ISSS Student Portal, please reach out to isssportal@stevens.edu for assistance.
Within your ISSS Student Portal, you will have access to update certain biographical data under your "Personal & Program" Information Section.
PLEASE REMEMBER: UPDATES MADE TO THIS SECTION WILL BE ROUTED DIRECTLY TO YOUR SEVIS RECORDS. REVIEW ALL INFORMATION BEFORE SAVING.
If a section is not editable, but requires changes, such as Financial Information or your Legal Name, please head over to your Control Center to submit a change request with ISSS.
Your Control Center is where you will have access to submit requests directly to ISSS, view your pending requests, and download your electronically signed documents.
Some of your requests, such as Program Extensions or Academic Difficulty RCLs, will require an approval from your Academic Department or professor. Within the request, you will have a section to input your Academic Advisor or professor's name and email address. Your request will route directly to your department member for review and approval. Once approved, it will return directly to ISSS for processing.
When inputting a request for the approval, it is very important to keep in mind the allowance for adequate processing time. While ISSS has a processing time set in place, so will your Academic Department or professor. Please allow your department enough time to effectively review and approve your request. Please do not email or call your advisor to expedite their processing or to check if they have the request - as this can slow the overall processing time down!
A note on document download:
DHS allows DSOs to electronically send I-20s to students. Your new I-20 will be available in your ISSS Student Portal. You must print out your I-20 in color, sign it in the Student Attestation section on page 1, and keep it in a safe place. ISSS is not authorized to print a physical copy of your I-20 in addition to your downloaded. The printed I-20 becomes your physical copy for I-20 official use. These I-20s are used in the same way as previously issued I-20s. Please remember that it is your responsibility to keep all previous I-20s in a safe place. ISSS is not responsible for providing copies of previously issued I-20s and cannot guarantee that they will be available in the future.
The Department of Education allows AROs to electronically send DS-2019s to students. Your new DS-2019 will be available in your ISSS Student Portal. You must print out your DS-2019 in color and keep it in a safe place. ISSS is not authorized to print a physical copy of your DS-2019 in addition to your downloaded. The printed DS-2019 becomes your physical copy for DS-2019 official use. These DS-2019s are used in the same way as previously issued DS-2019s. Please remember that it is your responsibility to keep all previous DS-2019s in a safe place. ISSS is not responsible for providing copies of previously issued DS-2019s and cannot guarantee that they will be available in the future.

Students on OPT or STEM OPT will have access to update their personal and employment information in the SEVP Portal beginning on the start date of their OPT Period. It is important to note the difference between the SEVP Portal (overseen by the SEVIS System) and the ISSS Student Portal (overseen by the ISSS Team at Stevens).
You will have access to update your information in both portals. However, it is important that if you choose to update your information in one portal, that you do not also update it in the other. If updating using the ISSS Student Portal request system, ISSS will issue an updated I-20 for you. If updating in SEVP Portal, you will need to submit a separate request for an updated I-20 to ISSS. Updating in both places can cause duplicate information records in SEVIS.
Certain requests from students, such as Program Extensions and Academic Difficulty RCLs, require approval from the academic advisor or professor. ISSS' current requests via PDF will no longer be used for this purpose. Instead, students will have the ability to enter their academic advisor or professor's name and email to their request.
Academic advisors and professors will receive an email from terradotta@stevens.edu, and will have access via link to review and approve/deny a student's request. No log in will be necessary; and ISSS will receive the approval & any additional notes directly after submission. Any questions you might have regarding the review/approval process can be sent to isss@stevens.edu.
