Document Collection Information
How to Collect your Documents from ISSS
Throughout your program at Stevens, you might make requests that will result in updated documents that you must collect from ISSS.
Please review your options below:
Form I-20s
Students can chose to have their updated I-20 printed and may collect it from the ISSS Office. The ISSS Office is open for document pick up Monday-Friday from 10:00AM-4:00PM. The ISSS Office is located on the 9th Floor of Howe Center.
Students must have a photo ID with them in order to pick up their I-20. ISSS is not authorized to provide I-20s to third parties such as friends or family members.
If a student requests their I-20 to be printed for pick-up, ISSS is not authorized to also provide the I-20 via email.
DHS allows DSOs to electronically send I-20s to student email address in SEVIS. Your new I-20 will be attached as a PDF and emailed to the email address listed in SEVIS (usually your Stevens Email Address).
You must print out your I-20 in color and sign and date your I-20 in the “Student Attestation” section on page 1. The printed I-20 becomes your physical copy for I-20 official use. These I-20s are used in the same way as previously issued I-20s.
If an I-20 has been emailed to the student, ISSS is not authorized to also print the I-20 for shipment or in person pick up.
Students may request to have their I-20s shipped to them by creating their own shipping label from a shipment company such as:
USPS
Fedex
DHL
UPS
Once the shipping label has been created, please email it to isss.application@stevens.edu.
International Student and Scholar Services is pleased to provide you with an express mail service called eShipGlobal that allows you to receive immigration documents such as EADs, USCIS receipts and approval notices, I-20s, etc. in a more secure manner through DHL/FedEx. This service will also allow you to track your mail, giving you a better sense of the anticipated arrival time.
To request an express mailing, please go to https://study.eshipglobal.com (This works best with Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox browsers). To use the service, you will be required to create an account with a username and password. The mail service must be paid for by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or Discover). Please make sure that your name is properly spelled and that you indicate the International Student Services office as the sender address from the pull down menu. You should enter your Stevens ID in the student ID field. Please complete the “Reference” section of the screen to indicate which documents you are waiting for (i.e. EAD card or OPT receipt).
Pay close attention to the information submitted, as errors in credit card information or submission of incorrect or incomplete address information will result in the delay of your shipment.
