2024 Fee Award Recipient - Sabrina R. Henry ’09

The Harold R. Fee 1920 Alumni Achievement Awards recognize and thank alumni who, through their engagement, have helped build a vibrant and supportive alumni community at Stevens.

Sabrina R. Henry ’09

Sabrina Henry ’09 has recently been promoted to the role of chief of staff to the chief scientific officer of Kenvue, the world’s largest pure-play consumer health company. Kenvue is a new company, derived from Johnson & Johnson. Kenvue is also the home of such iconic brands as Aveeno, Neutrogena, Tylenol and Listerine. It was less than a year ago that she joined the company as a Research and Development manager, following its departure from Johnson & Johnson in 2023. In her role, Sabrina led a team of scientists to develop and sustain new and commercialized skincare products.

During her time at Stevens, in addition to completing the co-op program, Henry was a residence life assistant. She was also active with Chi Alpha Epsilon, serving as president and vice president, and served as chapter president of the National Society of Black Engineers. She has particularly fond memories of participating in the university’s annual Unity Show.

Henry visits Stevens as much as she can and has attended recent events sponsored by the Lore-El Center for Women’s Leadership.

She is especially honored and proud to receive the Harold R. Fee Award. “It’s so important to give back and to learn from others’ experiences,” she says. “As a woman of color born to Caribbean immigrant parents, I understand and now embrace the principle of first! Whether you are the first within your immediate family to attend college or first to hold a corporate job, the path may not come easy, but it is worth it for your growth.”
