Ellen Usatin, MS, LPC
Ellen Usatin is a bilingual psychotherapist, born and raised in Ukraine, and licensed in the State of New York and New Jersey. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from New York University and a master's degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Touro University. Ellen has worked in diverse healthcare settings, including the Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department at NYU Langone, where she gained invaluable experience in crisis intervention and trauma response. At NYU Langone, she participated in a state-funded clinical outreach program to serve the needs of underserved, high-risk populations in Sunset Park.
Ellen has completed postgraduate training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) as well as crisis management in workplace settings. She has collaborated with business organizations affected by traumatic events, violence, and natural disasters.
Ellen is deeply passionate about helping individuals grow and thrive despite their challenges. She is dedicated to empowering her clients to unlock their full potential and become the best versions of themselves. Drawing from her own experiences with immigration, life transitions, and identity exploration, she brings a unique and empathetic perspective to her therapeutic practice.
