Students who do not use the Stevens Airport Pick Up Service must arrange for their own transportation from the airport. Although flights into JFK airport are often less expensive than flights into EWR, it will take an additional 60-90 minutes of travel time and cost $100+ to get to Hoboken, NJ from JFK airport than from EWR airport.
Traveling from Newark Airport (EWR)
Public Transportation: Once you arrive at Newark Airport you will take Air Train Newark to the Newark Airport Railroad Station. Take the Northeast Corridor train towards New York Penn Station and get off at the Secaucus stop. From Secaucus, take the Main/Bergen County line towards Hoboken. It will cost you approximately $15. Please be mindful with luggage it may be difficult to use public transportation.
Taxi Cabs: Cabs are available outside the airport, simply follow signs for "Ground Transportation" and then "Taxi". Go to a uniformed taxi dispatcher at the taxi stand to get a cab. A taxi cab from EWR to Hoboken will cost approximately $45 + tolls.

Traveling from John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK)
Public Transportation: At JFK, board the AirTrain JFK: Jamaica-Airport light rail towards Jamaica. Get off at Jamaica Station-Sutphin Blvd (the 5th stop). Walk to Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av-World Trade Center. Take the E subway towards the World Trade Center to 42 St-Port Authority Bus Terminal (the 11th stop). Get off and walk to Port Authority Bus Terminal. At Port Authority take Bus 126 towards Hoboken-Path-Exact Fare. This will bring you to Washington St in Hoboken. Get off at Washington St and 8th Street. Public transportation will cost you approximately $20. Please be mindful it may be difficult to travel with luggage.
