Bluebeam Workshop and Networking

The Department of Civil, Environmental and Ocean Engineering, in collaboration with the Professional Women in Construction NJ Chapter (PWCNJ), is pleased to host a professional development event designed to enhance both technical proficiency and industry engagement.

The program will begin with a Bluebeam Workshop, providing participants with guided instruction on digital drawing review, markups, and project collaboration techniques widely used in the construction and engineering sectors. Following the workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to network with one another, faculty and industry professionals.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Liza Pope is a graduate of the University of Hawaii with a degree in Civil Engineering. She has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, focused on heavy civil sector such as concrete foundations, power, site utilities and sitework. She has served in various positions of a construction life cycle such as project management to estimating and is currently the Executive Vice President of Preconstruction at HC Constructors, a heavy civil contractor. She is also the current President of the NJ Chapter of Professional Women in Construction, a national organization, advocating for women in the Architectural, Engineering and Construction fields.
