What is the Admissions Process?

You are eligible to apply to our pre-college programs if you are a rising junior or senior in high school. Admission to Stevens Pre-College Programs is highly competitive and based on a number of factors, including your academic achievement, extracurricular involvement and personal statement. Please review the following information carefully to ensure that your application is received and completed on time for full consideration.

How Do I Apply?

  1. Complete the Stevens Summer Application online.

  2. Upload a 500-word personal statement. Help us get to know you and explain why you are interested in attending the pre-college program you’ve selected. *Mandatory if you are applying for financial aid*

  3. Upload your unofficial high school transcript *Mandatory

  4. Submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, school counselor or educational administrator. *Highly Encouraged

  5. Upload a copy of your PSAT, SAT or ACT scores. *Optional

  6. For Intermediate Computer Science and Cybersecurity (Advanced) applicants only: You must demonstrate prior experience in computer science, via your high school transcript, a participation certificate in another camp or class, or an additional statement submitted with your materials. *Residential program only

Financial Aid

Stevens Pre-College programs offers a limited amount of need-based scholarships to a select number of students. Students that are interested in applying for financial aid must submit W2 and Tax Return information within their application.

Completing the Pre-College aid application does not guarantee funding. Any aid is dependent upon the allocation of funding reserved for the Pre-College program. The awards are made possible by generous contributions from various corporate partnerships and friends and family of Stevens Institute of Technology.

Students must submit an essay if they are applying for financial aid.
