Accessibility Statement
Stevens Institute of Technology is committed to ensuring the accessibility of both internally and externally hosted Stevens websites.
Web Accessibility
Stevens continues to strive for adherence to version 2.1 of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, at the AA conformance level (WCAG 2.1 AA) and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Digital accessibility efforts are supported by the institution’s broader governance framework. For more information on how Stevens manages its web presence, including roles, responsibilities, and standards that guide digital accessibility, see the Web Governance Policy.
Ongoing Efforts
Efforts to enhance the accessibility of the website include:
Accessibility testing of webpages and applications.
Partnerships with campus groups to gather feedback from users with disabilities.
Training for content creators and developers on accessibility best practices.
Reviewing the accessibility of third-party platforms.
Resources
Feedback regarding the accessibility of the experiences is welcome. The university remains committed to providing reasonable accommodations to enable everyone to engage with those experiences.
Some older content or third-party applications may not yet be fully accessible. If you are experiencing a barrier to accessibility in a digital experience provided by Stevens, please contact the Division of Information Technology at support@stevens.edu. Members of the campus community may instead create a support ticket.
All other inquiries should be directed to the Office of Disability Services, which may provide direct assistance or connect you with the appropriate resource.
In either case, a member of the Stevens team will respond promptly, and would be happy to assist you.
