Accelerated Master's Program

The Accelerated Master’s Program (AMP) enables high-achieving students to begin earning credits toward a graduate degree during their undergraduate studies, enabling them to earn a master’s degree at an accelerated pace.

Students enrolled in the program can double-count up to three courses (nine credits) toward both their undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Program Benefits

  • An advanced degree: Earning a master's degree helps students gain specialized knowledge that can help them to advance in a specific field and may make it easier to transition into more senior roles after entering the workforce.

  • Flexibility: Although AMP students are required to spend their first semester as a graduate student enrolled in classes full time, they can later transition to part-time or online study (if their master’s program is available in a fully online format). This flexibility permits students to enter the workforce or move out of the Hoboken area while still remaining enrolled at Stevens.

Applying to AMP

Students who are interested in AMP should attend an AMP information session as soon as possible, to ensure they understand the details of the program. More about the program and information sessions is available to current students on the AMP Stevens Hub page. Please review this page before applying.

Current students who have questions about AMP should email undergradtograd@stevens.edu.
