For International Students
We provide a pathway for you to begin your career in the U.S. by offering more than 75 STEM-designated graduate degree programs that provide a two-year extension to students' Optional Practical Training (OPT).
The recently announced $100,000 H-1B filing fee does not apply to individuals who earn a master’s degree or higher from a U.S. university. This means that students completing their graduate studies in the U.S.—including at Stevens Institute of Technology—will not be subject to this new fee when applying for an H-1B visa through their future employers. This update reinforces the value of completing your degree in the U.S. without delay and reflects ongoing support for highly skilled, advanced-degree professionals like you.
